The Queen’s University Belfast is a public research university located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The university was commissioned in 1845 and opened four years later as the Queen’s College, Belfast. The Queen’s University Belfast is one of Ireland’s leading research universities. The university offers over 300 different degree programs. The university is one of the main focal points of the area of the city known as the Queen’s Quarter which is one of the seven cultural districts located in Belfast.
The MBA Scholarships: International MBA Scholarships
The Queen’s International MBA Program works to prepare applicants for leadership and other roles for business management. The purpose of the MBA program is to understand core business management areas.
The Queen’s University Belfast is pleased to offer a limited amount of their International MBA Scholarships. The International MBA Scholarships are open to applicants from any subject area covered in the MBA Program.
Award: The Queen’s University Belfast International MBA Scholarships offer a variety of different amounts. The following amounts are listed below:
4 scholarships are available in the amount of £7,200
3 scholarships are available in the amount of £4,500
4 scholarships are available in the amount of £1,000
The International MBA scholarships also offer two INTO Queen’s Progression Scholarships available in the amount of £2,000.
All of the amounts awarded will be put towards the cost of tuition.
Eligibility: The applicant must supply evidence of English language proficiency. The applicant must have already accepted a full time study position at the Queen’s University Belfast. The applicant submit MBA scholarship applications before the deadline date. Application forms must be submitted online through email. Posted applications are acceptable but the university is not responsible for any issues with the late or lost applications. The applicant has to be a self-funded student. Partially sponsored applicants are still eligible if they are paying their own share of fees that is equal or more than the amount of the scholarships. The applicant must be an international student in a full time study program.
How to Apply
The applicant must apply for the International MBA Program through the Queen’s University Belfast. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the university receives all of the appropriate documentation needed to render an informed decision.
Each scholarship application will be accessed by a scholarships panel. The Queen’s University Management School Scholarship Panel meet periodically to assess each candidates potential. They rank candidates on the following three criteria:
500 word personal statement inside the scholarship application explaining why the candidate believes they are a good fit for the program.
500 words statement outlining the applicant’s previous work experience and any relevant skill sets that they possess.
The applicant will be judged based on previous academic performance.
The scholarships will be awarded after the applicant has paid the minimum deposits. If the applicant does not pay the minimum deposit the offer for the scholarships will in most cases be revoked.
This scholarship may not be held with another scholarships.
Deadline: The deadline for these MBA scholarships is the 30th of June.
