The MBA Program
The UCLA Anderson School of Management holds very strict requirements for admissions into their MBA programs. Applicants are required to have the following:
- The applicant must have excellent knowledge in differential calculus and statistics
- The applicant must have at least two professional and academic references as well as two admissions essays.
- The applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Applicants with a GMAT score of 700 or higher will be awarded preference.
- Applicants with GPA’s of over 3.56 will be awarded preference.

Deutschman Venture Scholarship
Description: This scholarship is intended for MBA applicants that have hands on experience with capital management, investments, and company management. These scholarships are awarded to applicants that agree to participate in a 3 month internship over their summer breaks.
Award: Tuition fees as well as an annual stipend are provided. The award will be based on an individual’s financial needs.
Description: These scholarships are awarded to first year applicants that have worked for nonprofit or public sectors as summer interns. These scholarships allow applicants to continue working for these organizations as well as provides the organizations the opportunity to utilize MBA interns which is a service these organizations usually cannot afford.
Patrick Welsh Scholarships
Description: Applicants who are eligible for this MBA scholarship are applicants that demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and hope to become entrepreneurs by either staring their own business or by helping to nurture and grow a small company.
Award: These awards are based on financial need.
Price Institute Scholarships
Description: This MBA scholarship offers a maximum of two MBA scholarships to applicants that have demonstrated entrepreneurial promise. This is a second year scholarship as applicants are selected at the end of the first full year of the program.
Student Investment Fund Scholarships
Description: This is a second year MBA scholarship awarded to applicants that have experimented with stocks and bonds by investing real money into these markets. It is for applicants wishing to gain help managing portfolios as well as trading strategies, and investment analytics.
Management Development for Entrepreneurs Scholarships
Description: These MBA scholarships are awarded to applicants who show entrepreneurial potential. This program awards a maximum of seven MBA scholarships annually. It helps to promote the applicants management skills as well as allow applicants to participate in seminars designed to teach them new business techniques.
Young Presidents Organization Scholarships
Description: This scholarship awards one MBA applicants the opportunity to earn academic credits and nurture their leadership skills by attending YPO events once a year. This is to help promote younger generations of business professionals.
- Applicants must be under the age of 30 to be eligible for these scholarships.
